Privacy notice
Beaverlodge Inc. (“Beaverlodge”, “we”) runs Beaverlodge Game from Calgary, Alberta. This notice explains what we collect through this website and what we do with it.
What we collect
- The needs you type into the “What do your neighbours need?” box.
- When you join: your first name, email, neighbourhood or postal code prefix, the needs you tick, and whether you want updates.
- When you apply to host: your name, email, phone (optional), neighbourhood, hours available and what you tell us about yourself.
- When you RSVP to a party: your name, email, number of guests and any need you share.
How it reaches us
Form submissions are sent to us by email through Web3Forms, a form-handling service. This site does not use advertising trackers.
How we use it
We use it to match neighbours who share needs, plan Quests and parties, contact Host applicants and send Game updates if you asked for them. We never sell your information. Your email is never shown to neighbours.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from updates at any time, and you can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you by emailing trust@beaverlodgegame.com. We handle personal information in line with Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act.
Terms of play
- Beaverlodge Game is free to play. The trillionaire story is fiction, but the neighbours, needs and savings are real.
- Quest Cards on this site are examples to start a conversation. A Host plans the real thing with you before anything is booked or bought.
- Savings and emission figures are estimates until verified. We never call them offsets unless they are certified.
- Dividend amounts vary week to week and are not guaranteed. Hosts work as independent contractors under a separate agreement.
- Be kind. Quests are about meeting shared needs, never about singling out, pressuring or tracking a neighbour.
